Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week I’m bringing you 10 of the many problems I have when it comes to books or reading!
1. My TBR pile? Which TBR pile? Oh, you mean my TBR ROOM! Yes. I have a problem.
2. If bank accounts were the world, mine would be the Sahara Desert. Dry, lifeless, and hard to even look at!
3. I’m HORRIBLE with names. You know that very important character in The Darkest Minds? Well, I don’t.
4. I want hardcovers but all I get are floppy books and low-quality paper.
5. I spend HOURS choosing the next book I’m going to read. Never Fade? Cress? Panic? Red Rising? STAB ME NOW.
6. Traveling is hard with books. Give me 10 reasons why I need clothes more than books. Exactly I don’t.
7. I have flawless taste but my friends don’t agree. It’s hard being so perfect!
8. It’s too hard for me to continue on with series. This is a side effect of being broke!
9. Should I buy the cheap eBook or the gorgeous real-life book? This is my everyday dilemma!
10. I constantly need new shelves. I literally have no more space for books. HELP.
What are your book-related problems? Do you have the same as mine?

OMG. Thank you for that Tyler Oakley GIF! Also, if we just read during the hours we spent picking our next read, we’d actually read so many more books! Lol.

haha Tyler Oakley is KING! You’re so right though, I’m currently trying to decide what to read next and I just can’t deal with myself lol

Oh god! There’s Never Fade, Cress, Red Rising, Shatter Me, one of my ARCs, Panic by Lauren Oliver, Vicious by V.E. Schwab, etc… I have so many LOL
And yes!! Definitely a fan of Tyler over here! haha

Okay. I personally didn’t like Panic, but if you’ve read other Lauren Oliver books, you’ll probably like it. I really want to read Vicious so you should read that and let me know if it’s good! Same for Shatter Me (which I own but haven’t read). 🙂

I decided on Shatter Me! Thanks for the advice 😀 I’m like 30 pages in and loving it so far!

My Bank account is of the Sahara Desert persuasion as well. Sigh. One day.

I’m also terrible with character names. Or well, really remembering any details of a book a month after finishing it.

Oh god, that’s me all the time. One of the reasons I don’t usually start series that are half-way published is because I can’t remember the ends of the books for my life!

Yeah, I’m also pretty bad with remembering names. As to travel – you need to get a kindle. TBH I’m not particularly bothered about taking loads of clothes or shoes anyway but I always travel light which means lots of books are a no-go. I do love books but kindles are great for travel – and excellent and light to carry around.

TBR ROOM! I love it! I constantly need new shelves too. Just the other day my husband was complaining about how I have stacks of books everywhere. I reminded him that he was the one who promised he’d make me a set of shelves…and that was months and months ago. I’m still waiting! And sometimes not being able to continue with a series is a good thing. I am following too damn many.

Ah! I agree with all of these! This post made me giggle out loud a little. I have the same problem with travelling and picking what to read next! Such a struggle.

I have a huge problem with travelling with books. Once I took 7 books on a 3 day holiday.
Choosing the next book to read is like the biggest ordeal! Although it should probably be my Physics textbook. But who needs that when you can binge read the Harry Potter series for the millionth time? I have a problem.

Ha ha, I share your #1 big time! My TBR pile (and book wishlist for books I don’t have yet) keeps growing and growing, and I’m struggling to keep up with it. Books are like pretty shiny objects to me: I see them, I want them, I MUST have them. *lol* I’m reading books much faster than I used to, though, so I might be able to put a decent-size dent into the pile this year.
In the whole grand scheme of things, though… Having too many books to read is a good problem to have. 🙂

Haha same here! I’m reading books much faster now so my TBR pile (and YES WISHLIST!) will decrease this year!

Seriously, how did I forget about pretty much all of these? The life of a bookworm is a hard life, indeed.

No. 7 – I KNOW! None of my friends have read ‘Room’ by Emma Donoghue even though I keep telling them to. Seriously, I know NO ONE who has read it!

Okay, I can relate to pretty much all of these! It takes me FOREVER to decide what to read next, I usually have to read the first few pages of several books before I can decide. I’m out of room on my shelves at the moment but I can’t afford another bookshelf right now *sigh*

It’s a terrible burden having amazing taste in books. I have internal conversations with people that give five stars to books I’ve given one star to. Something just isn’t right here because I’m pretty confident I knew exactly what I was talking about.

I only own like 4 hardback cover books haha, the rest are floppy ones – life of being broke 😦 Loved this!

I see you are currently reading Game of Thrones! I loved that book. Oh, and the gifs used in this post is perfect for what you are going on about xD That TBR room you mentioned? I think we have a problem in common. I am pretty good at saving money though – review copies keep me safe and my limit to only buying one box set or book a month. ALWAYS the shiny paperback. Always :3

Oh god, I’ve been reading Game of Thrones for a few months now… I only picked it up twice haha I plan to really focus on it on March tho and hopefully marathon through A Clash of Kings too! I love some paperbacks too but man, the hardcovers are too pretty and horrible at not buying books lmfao

I also like hardcovers, mainly because they come out first and they’re prettier most of the time, but they’re expensive. And I think the subject of TBR is a universal bookworm problem. I feel like my metaphorical TRB doom pile is going to topple over any moment and bury me deep within.

I know! Hardcovers look so pretty on your shelves… It’s such a pity they’re so expensive! I feel your TBR pain haha

OH MY GOD! I do agree with your problems. I do NOT have space for more books, I do NOT have too much money to keep buying them an I certainly, sometimes, cannot read the whole series because is hard to find the books, buy them or other things. LOVE your list and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Ha ha very funny! I have most of these problems and more, except I never buy ebooks at all, so I don’t have to worry about that one:-D
