Top Ten Tuesday | Ten ALL-TIME favorite books from the last 3 years

06_17_2013_book-smell

Top Ten Tuesday is weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish and this week I’m bringing you my ten all-time favorite books I have read over the course of the last 3 years. They haven’t necessarily been published in the last 3 years but I did read them in that time. They’re not in any particular order and I probably left some out because I’ve read a ton of books in 3 years.

So here they are:

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

Looking For Alaska by John Green

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Divergent Series by Veronica Roth (I got spoiled for the ending of Allegiant!)

Ms. Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

Eon by Alison Goodman

The Name of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Which books are your ALL-TIME faves?!

Find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, GoodReads and BlogLovin’!

  1. When I’m looking through Kindle Unlimited for books to read, I’ve scrolled past The Handmaid’s Tale many many times deciding if I should read it or not. I think I might find time soon to. I always stop to look at it and then just keep scrolling. We had some of the same books. 🙂 Here is a link to my post –

  2. ahh, Name of the Wind and the Book Thief – two amazing books. I must confess that much against popular opinion I didn’t like The Maze Runner. I’ve not read some of your others but will do eventually – particularly Cinder.

  4. The Book Thief is so good! And of the two John Green-books I’ve read, I definitely liked “Looking for Alaska” a lot better than “The Fault in Our Stars”!
My all time favorites are The Little Prince, Harry Potter and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!

  5. I really want to read The Book Thief, which I started but failed to continue, and I really want to read Will Grayson and Looking for Alaska as I loved John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars! Great choices also, I would have picked the Divergent Trilogy as one of my favourites too.

      1. I loved the style of the writing in The Book Thief when I started reading it but I think it was because I was learning about Nazi Germany at the time that I was pretty much over it. But I am going to get to it and hopefully all these books so on this year.

  6. I think I might go back to the Divergent series and try it again. I mean, I liked the first book despite a few places where it got a bit slow so I might skim through it and borrow the other books from my friend. I quit halfway through The Maze Runner-I liked the idea and the plot but the MC bugged me as did the fact that everyone refused to answer the most basic of questions! Still, I plan to watch the film and then MAYBE I’ll go back and try again. Maybe!
